Southern California Lyricist, N01SES Drops off His Amazing New Album, ‘The Book of David’

Last year, I came across Bellflower, CA native, N01SES. Sporting an infectious vocal tone and more-than-polished pen, he immediately captivated me with his project, Memoirs. Meshing his lyrical prowess with the smooth production of SWRV, resulted in the duo creating a lane for their collective, RICHMIND$. Unfortunately, I was saddened to find out that SWRV had passed away late last year, shortly after the release of this project. Keeping his spirit alive, N01ses teamed up with some of So Cal’s underground elite for the second installment, The Book of David, in what the duo had planned to be a trilogy.
Clocking in at 15-tracks, The Book of David is N01SES at his absolute best. Sounding completely poised and in pocket on every single record, he spends 41-minutes completely letting everything off of his chest. From the struggles as an indie artist, to growing up in tough parts of Southern California, and ultimately speaking on his friend’s death, he spares no feelings on here as he provides you with a poignant scope of his mind. With features from cats like, ZenSoul, Julian Stephen and Trizz, who delivers a scene-stealing verse, it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the industry starts to take notice.
Check out the project below and stay tuned for more from N01SES.
