With many cities starting to open back up, and with Summer peaking its’ head out of the corner, the vibe of the music that’s being released is sure to change. Providing a dark, introspective melodic journey, rising artist, Cam Santana sets the tone for our release with his new EP, No Halos.

At 3-tracks, No Halos is an absolutely outstanding release from Santana. With this being my personal introduction to the ascending crooner, I was weary going in, but had my doubts quickly expelled with the his brilliant intro, “Reminders.” Providing the anthem for every late night ride home from a function this summer, he proves on this short, but emphatic, single that he has the chops to create wildly infectious music.

As for the second track, which shares the same name as the project, Santana finds himself providing lighter melodies over bouncier production. Utilizing uptempo melodies instead of the stark ones he previously used, “No Halos,” sees Santana as light hearted as he’s going to be. Finishing out with, “BDB,” Santana returns to the dark side, providing intricate lyrics about topics ranging from annoying ex-boyfriends trying to ruin his stance with women, haters trying to keep his music from shining and much, much more.
