North Carolina Rapper Paragon Don Returns With His Groovy New Single, “Human”

Hip-Hop is in an exciting time period. After going through some growing pains attempting to figure the internet out, we’ve finally started to settle in and allow technology to provide us things that we may not have had before. For example, finding Paragon Don, an exciting North Carolina native who has been bubbling over the last year. After dropping a string of releases that received acclaim, he returns with his infectious new single, “Human.”

Produced by Rommel Donald, “Human,” is a fast-paced, easily replayable record about Don attempting to court a woman. Speaking on how they could be happy together, as well as a few flexes including one about running a record label, he utilizing his slick flow to make it sound more like a conversation than a song. Once the serene vocals of APHRO XOXO come in, you’re transported back into the record, where APHRO and Don both handle their roles perfectly. While Don does a brilliant job on his single verse, he never tries to step on APHRO’s toes on the hook, and vice versa, making for a wonderfully sequenced record.
