Hailing from New Haven, Norman Perry is one of the more intriguing prospects in the current revival of R&B. Armed with a vast vocal range and painfully relatable lyricism, his rise has been well documented by various publications. Looking to take that next step forward, he returns to the forefront with his engaging new single, “2032305.”

Produced by frnchhmwrk, “2032305,” finds Norman crooning about his love for nightlife. Speaking specifically on the Miami scene, Perry’s lyrics about Biscayne baddies popping pills paint a vivid picture of how he sees the city. Utilizing much of the 3-and-a-half minutes to showcase his aforementioned vocal range, the most appealing part of the record appears towards the end. Proving, again, that he’s a man of many talents, he delivers an endearing verse at the end where he raps with the ease and confidence of a 10-year-veteran emcee — confirming the notion that he can do anything on a mic.

Already enjoying a successful 2020, this releases serves as an indication of the future. With 2021 on the horizon, look for the rising start to release more material. Until then, get familiar with his latest release below.
