Memphis Rappers, ATM Richbaby & Action Pack AP Turn Heads With Their Dynamic New Video

Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, rappers ATM Richbaby and Action Pack AP recently released the video for their single, “How To Be A Player.” This provocative new visual gives a us a modern take on 1990’s classic film of the same title. The Tennessee emcees trade bars back and forth about their x-rated adventures with married women, giving us a small taste of what growing up to be successful in the 901 entails.
The video follows suit, and tells a story filled with hilarity and nostalgia reaching back to the vintage Def Jam movie, which is older than the rappers themselves. There’s a hilarious skit in which comedian Mon Ruffin plays a disgruntled husband who comes home to find Action Pack AP in bed with his wife. The song/video combination is just as fun as ever, as ATM Richbaby delivers standout lines such as “I’m trying to stack this money ‘til it’s taller than me,” and if they keep this energy up that might actually be possible.
With production from Blvk Sun & Hit Kidd, this bouncy new offering shows that the reign Memphis rap has held over the game the last few years is far from over. Watch for yourself below.
