Maryland Rapper, Ty Thom Drops Off His Anthemic New Single, “Benz Truck”
Other than the obvious issues that have stemmed from it, one of the hardest things about quarantine has been the fact that we can’t attend concerts anymore. For me, shows are where I discover new artists, give old ones a second chance and double down on my favorites. It’s essentially where the connection is forever established or severely in danger. Coming from Maryland, rising rapper, Ty Thom releases his loud and energetic new song, “Benz Truck,” one that would be seemingly perfect for the live show test.
Produced by Wandoe, “Benz Truck,” is a big, loud and dynamic ode to the popular coupe. Utilizing an impressive range of different vocal tones to get off an array of melodies, Thom is particularly imposing in this performance, showcasing an arsenal that I had not previously seen. With this record marking as his second notable appearance of the month, it could be sooner, rather than later, that Thom starts to turn some heads.
