Compared to many other scenes, Las Vegas’ Hip-History is vast, but not very well documented. Despite this, over the last half decade, the city has worked hard to make sure that it’s progression is tracked. One of the artists who has been a big part of that progression is rising emcee, BUUBACKWARDS, and he checks into our pages for the first time with his engaging new project, Uncut Demo 3.

Clocking in at 8-tracks, the 26-minute project serves as the third installment in the Vegas native’s Uncut Demo trilogy. Boasting features from Anjil, JayPole$ and Asaiah Ziv, one of the more impressive parts of the project is the young rapper’s ability to hang with, and at times outshine, his collaborators. Utilizing a razor sharp cadence to go along with some witty one-liners, his progression as a rapper is more than notable, as evidenced on, “Digits,” and “Conversations Pt. 2.”

While his abilities as an emcee are not to be understated, the calling card for BUUBACKWARDS is without a doubt his talents as a producer. Handling the duties for every single second of the project, he showcases his knack for melodic progression and creativity over the 26-minutes. Armed with an array of different sounds, there aren’t too many dull moments on the project, which is something to be said for a demo tape.

Take a listen to the project below and get familiar with BUUBACKWARDS.
