Las Vegas Crooner, Babypunk Turns in His Impressive Debut, ‘OKCupid’

Creativity has no boundaries. None. Despite this, with creativity being the most valuable export that humans posses, people are always trying to sanction and structure it. Sometimes, this works, other times, it doesn’t. For Las Vegas creative Babypunk, his creativity being stifled was never in jeopardy. Building his buzz as the local do-everything media man in Las Vegas, he cashes in his chips and releases his highly impressive debut EP, Okcupid.

At only 6-tracks, the project is without a doubt short in length, but considering the content, it allows for an easy replay. Showcasing his sheer melodic ability and knack for finding grooves in unique pockets, Babypunk utilizes his E-Boy flare to deliver what are sure to be some Soundcloud favorites like, “IDK” and the Baby Demon-featured, “Luh Dis Bih.” Rhyming with a cool and calculated confidence that most don’t have on this first project, Okcupid is without a doubt a good sign of progression for the young artist.
