In 2022, there are an infinite amount of ways to cultivate a fanbase. For some, they’ve been making music for years and they prefer to cultivate it through that, while others prefer other ways. After graduating college, content creator Kadeli began making YouTube videos under the name Hipyo Tech, which resulted in him gaining a substantial audience on the platform. Due to always having a knack for musicality, he decided to utilize his fanbase to link with producer Forte and begin a musical career for himself, resulting in his first single reaching 100,000 listens on Spotify. Looking to take this a step further, he checks into our pages for the first time with his engaging new single, “Wake Up.”

Produced by Forte, “Wake Up,” is a somber, self-reflective track that finds Kadeli putting his songwriting abilities on full display. Starting the track out with the lines, “I don’t want you in my head, there I said it,” he immediately makes his intentions for the song known, telling an unknown lover that their presence is not appreciated. Throughout the rest of the record, he keeps this tone prevalent as he croons about not being fit for this type of love, instead preferring some solace as he figures out what’s exactly right for him. In addition to the song writing, Kadeli also displays a knack for pitch control, as his vocal tone perfectly meshes with the ambient sounds provided by Forte throughout the entirety of the record.

In all, “Wake Up,” is the perfect introduction to Kadeli for new fans, while serving as a great treat for already established ones. Take a listen to the single below and get familiar for yourself.
