Get a Caribbean Taste of New York City on Mosliano’s Groovy New Project

Hip-Hop has been intertwined with Caribbean music since the very beginning. I mean, think about it, how many of our favorite rappers from NYC derive from Caribbean decent. I’ll tell you: most of them. So whenever I come across that specific sound, it always catches my ears. Utilizing this notion to a tee, NYC artist, Mosliano delivers his infectious new project, When Night Falls.
Comprised of 8-tracks, When Night Falls sounds exactly like what the title suggests. Picture hanging out in a tropical place with a bar that faces the ocean. Okay, now imagine the sun is setting right over the water, making for a beautiful orange-ish shot of the sky that really only happens twice a day. Now picture somebody dropped the most fitting music you could think of in the background. That’s exactly what this project sounds like — with each track serving as a different moment in the night. While many of those moments would be supplemented with good vibes, infectious rhythms and more, it’s, “Tek Time,” that stands out as the one on the project. Picture this song coming on right as you meet the most beautiful women you’ve ever seen, but only there’s one catch — she feels the same about you.
