Edmonton Songwriter St.Arnaud Checks in With His Reflective New Single, “Loving”
In life, it’s never easy to go through this challenging experience alone. One of the most popular romantic phrases to say to your significant other is, “you complete me,” which on one hand seems very sweet, but on the other breeds many expectations. While love is without a doubt necessary in some form in order to happy, the true happiness comes from the love you have for yourself, inside. Hailing from Canada, rising vocalist St. Arnaud understands this notion perfectly, as he touches on it during his new single, “Loving.”
Set to the tone of a steady beat of tranquil drum breaks and infectious guitar riffs, “Loving,” establishes itself on the back on it’s songwriting. Evoking feelings of love, unity and overall positivity, he also gets a bit deeper, utilizing lyrics like, “Look at him, he knows he’s got some problems/If he lets her in, she hopes her love will solve him.” While the line is sure to stir up a few feelings inside of anyone, he showcases his duality by tying it back in with an incredibly engaging chorus that finds him bringing everybody together in unison. Blending a wonderful pen with an impressive vocal range, not to mention his ability on the guitar, “Loving,” showcases that St.Arnaud is here to stay.
