Washington D.C. is one place that I want to visit, that I have yet to do so with. The contrast between having Capitol Hill and The White House in town with the nickname, “Chocolate City,” has always been one of the most ironic things in the world to me… Also, I’ve always been curious of the city’s culture and on native rapper, Dre Wave$ new project, Duality, he does an amazing job at bringing some of that to life for outsiders like myself.

Calling on a handful of producers including Stoic Beats, Cardboard Box, Bobby Cento and more, Dre uses the album as an opportunity to fully establish himself as an artist to be reckoned with. Utilizing his deep, baritone voice in all of the best ways, he does a brilliant job of conducting this ship, spawning a few notable standouts like, “Drinking & Smoking,” “Rhythm & Blues” and, “Pain & Passion,” with the latter two featuring standout performances by featured artist Ty Thom.

In short, Duality is an impressive project from an improving artist. Check out the project below and get familiar with Dre Wave$.
