Chicago Rapper, Devo Links Up With Hotelroom For Their New Video For, “Demise”

Traditionally, Arizona is probably not seen as a hotbed for Hip-Hop talent. Lately, though, we’ve started to see some fresh faces emerge from the desert including QWERTY, Injury Reserve and more. Another crop that’s been making waves in the city is Detroit native Hotelroom, and Chicago rapper, Devo. Connecting their buzz, they release their joint new video for, “Demise.”

Shot by PeasBlakePeas, “Demise,” is a simple, yet engaging video that finds Devo and Hotel shooting mostly in front of a traditional Phoenix home, with various shots of them near the light rail and other Arizona staples as well. Going back and forth over the Robert Perry production, the two showcase a strong chemistry to go along versatile talents.
