Capo Corleone Checks in With His Engaging New Single, “Supersize”

The last half-decade of Hip-Hop has been one filled with great sadness and turmoil. In the midst of 5-years, we lost countless amounts of future legends due to avoidable things like violence, jail and of course, drug addiction. What seems like an influx of money into Hip-Hop from Big Pharma, almost every single young artist popping up in the mainstream was talking about drugs. While this has started to slow down due to awareness campaigns, the ruins can be still be seen, and they’re exactly what Los Angeles rapper, Capo Corleone talks about in his engaging new single, “Supersize.”
Produced by DJ Dister, “Supersize,” seems like a scathing dissertation of the youth in Hip-Hop. Taking a deeper listen, and you find that Capo is doing his best to educate young artists, not scold them. He utilizes the energetic production to allow for a more high-octane approach, which comes off as aggression but could easily be taken for passion. He also takes aim at, “crabs in the bucket,” as he proves that his abilities as a lyricist are to be taken seriously.
