Music has no boundaries, no barriers and no borders, both physically and metaphorically. In fact, with the recent wave of Afro-Beat and Grime influence to take over the States, I would say that the playing field is almost even these days. Hailing from São Paulo, ascending songstress, Sartør has been one of the more intriguing international acts of the last year. After a well-received EP in 2019, she started to build a buzz that has led into anticipation for her next single. Feeding the fans, she drops off a new video for, “Stay.”

Creatively enlisting the Lyric Video theme for this video, “Stay,” is a fun, easy-to-sing-along-to record that showcases some of Sartør’s best qualities: including her easy going personality, incredible pen and ability to be perfectly relatable on screen, making most views feel like that could be them. Produced by Sartør herself, she adds another layer of potential domination to her arsenal. With this video putting those all together for a pleasant package, it’s no surprise she’s gotten the attention she has.
